Condition
The canvas has been tightly relined and the surface appears slightly pressed as a result. However, the details still are preserved and the painting presents a decorative image that reads well. There is a tiny surface scratch to the upper right on the foliage. There is also some slight discoloring to the sky, probably from old retouching. Inspection under UV shows some small spots of retouching on the foreground, and some minor retouches here and there. The aforementioned discoloring of the sky fluoresces under UV. The painting could be hung as is, but some readdressing to the discolored sky might improve its appearance. It is offered in an ebonized, wood frame.
