Condition

The canvas is lined. The painting presents a charming image with the details well preserved as noted with the figures in the foreground. Some more visible, but stable craquelure is visible in the sky behind the tree at left. Inspection under UV is difficult to read because of the varnish, but a few small spots of retouches are visible on the sky and clouds. An area of retouching is visible on extreme edges, most noticeably along the upper edge. The foreground appears to have some retouching on the darker colors, with a more condensed area on the bottom right corner. The painting could be hung in its present state and is offered in a carved, gilded wood frame.
