Condition
The copper is flat and stable. The surface of the paint is well preserved underneath the varnish. There is some thinness in the face of St Catherine. Inspection under UV is difficult to read possibly because of the varnish, though some scattered small spots of retouching are on the Virgin's red robe, her face, and the child's body. The painting could be hung in its present condition. It is offered in an ebonized frame with a gold liner.
