Description

Designed as a horse with an articulated ring set with cabochon rubies through its mouth, applied with yellow enamel, the eyes set with pear-shaped emeralds, internal circumference 6 inches, signed Webb.

Condition

In overall good condition, with surface scratches to the metal commensurate with wear. One link is slightly hyperextended and loose. The enamel is in good condition, with two areas of moderate loss. Stamped 18k. The rubies, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.30 carats, are medium to medium deep slightly purplish red, heavily included with surface reaching inclusions. The emeralds are medium slightly bluish green, slightly included. Clasp closes securely; safely closure needs adjustment. Gross weight 75 dwts.
