Description

Of geometric design set with old European, baguette and single-cut diamonds, detachable into three dress clips, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1930s.

Condition

In good condition with very minor surface scratches and nicks to the metal commensurate with age; the carrier with some discoloration and tarnish, not visible when worn. The carrier with French assay marks for 18 karat (white) gold; the two larger clips with French assay marks for 18 karat (white) gold and platinum. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 11.70 carats, are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. Total gross weight approximately 21 dwts. Brooch measures approximately 2 x 1½ inches. The two larger dress clips measure approximately 1½ inches x 1 inch when detached from carrier. The smallest clip measures approximately ½ x ½ inch.
