Description

The Light Pink cushion modified brilliant-cut diamond weighing 1.52 carats, set within a double frame of round diamonds of pink hue and pear-shaped diamonds, the band further highlighted to the sides with single-cut diamonds, size 7½.

Condition

In good condition with some minor scratches to the mounting commensurate with light wear; the bank of the shank would benefit from rhodium-plating. Some stones are loose in their settings and would benefit from the attention of a jeweler. Mounting is stamped 750 for 18 karat (white and rose) gold. Shank interior is inscribed D1.52 referring to the carat weight of the cushion-cut diamond; also inscribed D2.32 referring to the total carat weight of the pear-shaped diamonds; the pear-shaped diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity; also inscribed D0.51 referring to the total carat weight of the single-cut diamonds; the single-cut diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. The round diamonds of light pink hue, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.15 carat, are approximately SI clarity. Accompanied by a photocopy of GIA report no. 6127250107 dated July, 9, 2010 stating that the diamond is Light Pink, Natural Color, SI1 clarity. Please note that the round diamonds of pink hue have not been tested for origin of color.
