Description

Each designed as a flower, one pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the other with brilliant-  and single-cut diamonds, the centres set with circular-cut rubies and emeralds respectively, each with indistinct Italian maker's marks.

Condition

Each stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, stamped with indistinct Italian maker's marks. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats each. Rubies purplish-red, emeralds mid green, both transparent, both with typical inclusions, the rubies with minor inclusions visible under magnification, a few visible to the naked eye, the emeralds with inclusions visible to the naked eye. Some inclusions surface-reaching, some minor associated cavities and small areas of light chipping and wear to facet edges. Double pin brooch fittings each in good working order, closing securely. Light scratches to metal surfaces consistent with wear. Overall in good condition. Each measuring approximately 62 x 39mm. Combined gross weight approximately 45 grams.
