Description

Claw-set with a circular-cut alexandrite weighing 6.51 carats, to geometric shoulders set with single-cut and baguette diamonds, size H1/2 (sizing spheres), indistinctly numbered.

Condition

Indistinctly numbered, possibly 4762. Alexandrite deep green, orange in incandescent light, transparent, some light surface scratches, minor chips to girdle and a few rubbed facet edges. Stone is slightly loose in its mount. Diamonds bright and lively. Surface scratches to metal surfaces. Some areas of light discolouration commensurate with age. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 4.5 grams.
