EMERALD AND DIAMOND NECKLACE

The front composed of links set with cabochon emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds with square and baguette diamond spacers, the centre of floral design supporting a fringe of similarly set pendants, the back composed of scroll shaped links set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 550mm. 

Emeralds mid green, transparent, each with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, some small areas of very minor chipping and surface wear. Central emerald measuring approximately 15.7 x 13.1 x 8.5mm, smallest in necklace links measuring approximately 8.5 x 6.7 x 3.7mm, calculated to weigh approximately 12.79 and 1.54 carats respectively. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to be approximately H-I colour, VS clarity on average. Largest diamond estimated to be approximately K/L colour, SI1 clarity, estimated to weigh approximately 2.20 carats. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 16.00 - 19.00 carats including largest diamond. Clasp secure. Scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. Areas of discolouration to metal, some small areas of solder to reverse. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 118 grams.
