Description

Each set with a cabochon sapphire, stated to weigh 9.58 and 9.56 carats respectively, suspended from a line of brilliant-cut diamonds, post and butterfly fittings.

Condition

Accompanied by GRS, report no. GRS2014-113350, dated 19th December 2014, stating that the sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of thermal heating. Measuring approximately 11.97 x 10.57 x 6.83mm, estimated to weigh approximately 9.58 carats. Additionally accompanied by a certificate form Stalwart, report no. 12623194, dated 7th November 2014, stating that the sapphires origin are Mogok, Burma (Myanmar), with no indications of thermal treatment. Measuring approximately 12.0 x 11.0 x 6.3mm and 12.0 x 11.6 x 6.8mm, estimated to weigh approximately 9.56 and 9.58 carats. One post stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires dark blue, semi-transparent, numerous typical inclusions visible, some are surface reaching, fractures and cavities to stone surfaces, base of one sapphire with visible fracture, light surface scratches and wear to surfaces. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.40-0.50 carats. Light scratches to metal surfaces. Overall in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 9 grams. Case stamped Christie's.
