Claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 11.99 carats, size N.
Condition
Accompanied by DSEF Idar Oberstein report no. 028209, stating that the sapphire weighing 11.99 carats and measuring approximately 14.22 x 11.81 x 7.60mm is of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Unsigned. Sapphire mid blue, transparent, typical eye visible inclusions, surface wear to stone surface such as scratches and rubbed facet edges. Very fine scratches to metal surfaces. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 5 grams.
