- Frascarolo
Designed as a lion and a palm tree within a textured rectangular frame, applied throughout with green and red basse taille and black enamel, accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, pear-shaped emeralds and two cultured pearls, Italian maker's mark for Frascarolo.
Condition
Stamped with maker's mark for Frascarolo, incorporating: FC made in Italy, copyright mark Modèle Déposé, stamped 750/18K for 18 carat gold, Italian maker's mark 347 AL for FRASCAROLO PIERINO & C, all within an oval cartouche. Enamel generally in good condition, with some small areas of losses to black enamel, one small chip to green enamel on palm frond. Cultured pearls in good condition, each approximately 5.3mm diameter, white body colour with pink and green overtones, some imperfections and minor areas of crazing to nacre. Emeralds light green, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching. Diamonds bright and lively. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. Overall dimensions approximately 60 x 60mm, gross weight approximately 89.6 grams. Overall in good condition.
