Description

Set with six amber cabochons, each within a textured surround and highlighted with baroque cultured pearls, length approximately 195mm, maker's mark for Gilbert Albert, pouch signed Gilbert Albert.

Condition

Stamped with maker's mark GA for Gilbert Albert, and 750 for 18 carat gold. Amber orange to brownish orange, transparent, with typical inclusions and surface crazing visible to the naked eye. Cultured pearls of various baroque shapes, each of white body colour with green and rose overtones, with areas of pitting and unevenness to nacre surface. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. Overall in good condition, gross weight approximately 87 grams.
