Description

Each designed as a flower, the petals set with circular-cut sapphires, the pistils set with an oval ruby, later post fittings, indistinctly signed Tiffany & Co.

Condition

Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 10496, dated 5th June 2018, stating that the rubies weighing approximately 3.40 carats in total, measuring approximately between 6.17 x 6.50mm and 6.58 x 7.05mm, are natural, with indications of heating and moderate residues in healed fissures. Each indistinctly signed Tiffany & Co. Butterfly fittings stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Rubies pinkish red, well matched for colour, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some minor wear to facet edges. Both rubies slightly loose in earrings, however secure. Sapphires mid blue, some colour variations, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some are surface reaching, small chips to facet edges. Signs of wear to metal. Overall in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 10 grams.
