Description
Comprising: a necklace centering collet-set oval sapphire weighing approximately 10.10 carats, within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, to a flattened curb-link chain; and a pair of ear clips; necklace and one earclip signed Cartier, numbered, each with French assay mark.
Condition
Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 10500, dated 6th June 2018, stating that the three sapphires are natural, with indications of heating. The sapphires in the earclips weigh approximately 8.00 carats in total, the sapphire in the necklace weighs approximately 10.10 carats. Necklace clasp and side of one earclip signed Cartier, stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold, necklace numbered 230421, earclip numbered 600151, all stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires all violetish blue, typical inclusions such as colour zoning visible, some light wear to facets. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00-6.00 carats. Clip fittings with good tension, one rubber cushion missing, the other degraded. Light scuffs to metal consistent with wear, combined gross weight approximately 102.5 grams, overall in good condition.
