Description

Collet-set with a rectangular sugarloaf cabochon ruby stated to weigh approximately 6.30 carats, the mount set with calibré-cut sapphires, size I 1/2.

Condition

Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 10498, dated 6th June 2018, stating that the ruby weighing approximately 6.30 carats and measuring 9.00 x 12.20 x 4.80mm, is natural, with no indications of heating. Four sapphires, weighing approximately 0.55 carats in total are natural, with indications of heating. Ruby with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, several at corner of cabochon surface reaching. Sapphires with wear to facet edges, one sapphire at bottom of mount chipped. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold to edge of shank. Scratches to metal, overall condition consistent with wear, gross weight approximately 12 grams.
