Designed as a carved chalcedony starfish, each ray set with a cultured pearl, to a central starfish motif set with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, French assay and partial maker's marks, one arm restored.

Condition

Stamped with French assay mark and indistinct maker's mark. Chalcedony in an even tone with no obvious scratches or chips. One arm broken and restuck, some residual glue. Pearls of grey to cream body colour, very minor visible scratches and pits to the nacre. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total weight approximately 0.80-1.00 carats, on average SI/I clarity, colour difficult to gauge due to limitations of the mount. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 34 grams. Accompanied by case.
