Claw-set with an oval ruby framed by brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, size J.

Condition

Accompanied by CISGEM, report no. 8649, stating that the ruby is natural, with no indications of heating, origin Myanmar (formerly Burma). Measuring approximately 8.36 x 10.61 x 4.30mm, estimated to weigh approximately 3.40 carats. Ring shank stamped MI46 P11. Ruby mid red, transparent, typical surface reaching inclusions, fractures and cavities, some chips and scratches. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.90-1.10 carats, estimated clarity SI, colour I-K as graded within the limitation of the mount. Ring shank split. Surface scratches to metal. Overall condition good.
