Set with an oval cushion-shaped sapphire stated to weigh 7.72 carats, between trapeze-shaped diamonds, size N, British hallmarks.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 91912, stating that the sapphire weighing 7.72 carats is of Burma origin, with no indications of heat treatment, measuring approximately 12.95 x 9.85 x 5.95mm. Stamped with British hallmarks for London, platinum, sponsor's mark BPR. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, transparent, with minor typical inclusions visible under magnification, light scratch to the table facet, some very minor abrasions to small areas of facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated clarity SI, estimated colour J/K as gauged within the limits of the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with normal wear. In good condition.
