Description

  • Platinum, sapphire and diamond
Set with a step-cut sapphire weighing 7.81 carats, the shoulders set with pear-shaped diamonds, size M1/2.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 93017, stating that the sapphire weighing 7.81 carats is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heat treatment, measuring approximately 9.61 x 9.46 x 8.94mm. Shank stamped PT for platinum, indistinct maker's mark. Sapphire mid blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, areas of minor wear to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00 - 1.20 carats, estimated to be approximately H colour, VS clarity on average. Very light scratches to metal and sapphire surfaces consistent with occasional wear. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 6.2 grams.
