Designed as a pierced plaque, millegrain-set with circular-cut diamonds and calibré-cut rubies, numbered.

Stamped number 81908 to side of brooch. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 8.00 - 9.00 carats. Central diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.10 - 1.20 carats, estimated to be approximately I-J colour, I1 clarity. Remaining diamonds bright and lively, estimated to be approximately I-J colour, SI clarity on average. Rubies purplish-red, transparent, with minor typical inclusions visible under magnification, areas of wear and minor chipping to some facet edges. Clip fitting in good working order, with good tension, measuring approximately 62 x 38mm. Scratches to metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition. Total weight approximately 18 grams. Associated box stamped Hancocks & Co.
