Set with an oval ruby framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, size K, signed Mr VCA, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Shank stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold and French maker's mark Sté E with snowflake, signed Mr VCA for Monture Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered S 15050. Ruby measuring approximately 11.2 x 8.0 x 4.3mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.42 carats, deep purplish red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some surface-reaching. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.40 - 2.80 carats. Scratches to metal and stone surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
