The gold-plated guilloché dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands within an undulating white enamel border, reverse with pink guilloché enamel and white undulating enamel border, to a rose diamond and white enamel centre, suspended from a seed pearl and rose diamond neck chain, mechanical movement, length approximately 637mm, dial and movement signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, a few rose diamonds deficient.

Condition

Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Movement running at the time of cataloguing. Dial signed Cartier Paris, movement signed Cartier, bezel of case numbered 7221 for London repair number, inside reverse numbered 4782 and 3242 for Paris stock numbers, also stamped 7221, stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's mark E.J. for Jaeger. There are some very light wear to dial with small black spots and some loss of colour to minute markers. Diamonds bright and lively, some diamonds with chips. Light scratches and very minor rubbed areas to enamel, some loss of enamel on top of bezel surround. Pearls of white and cream body colour, pink and green overtones, low to medium lustre, pearls with wear around drill holes, some pearls split, scratches and growth features visible. Scratches to metal surfaces commensurate with age and wear, some discolouration. Clasp closes securely. Overall condition commensurate with age and wear. .
