One set with circular-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, the other with similarly-cut sapphires and diamonds within gold borders, length approximately 160mm and 170mm respectively, each with French assay marks for gold and maker's marks.

Each with French maker's mark for Georges Verger et Fils, 51 rue Sainte-Anne, 75002 Paris and assay marks for 18 carat gold. Rubies estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.50 to 6.50 carats, well matched in colour, red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions and nicks. Sapphires estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.50 - 6.50 carats, well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, minor nicks, chips and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and normal use. In good condition. Clasps secure, safety catch. Total gross weight approximately 132 grams.
