Description

Set with a sugarloaf cabochon emerald stated to weigh 7.11 carats, between pear-shaped ruby shoulders, the mount further enhanced with brilliant-cut diamonds and diamonds of yellow tint, size 54, French assay mark for gold.

Condition

Please note that the diamonds of yellow tint have not been tested for natural colour. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 86264, stating that the emerald measuring approximately 11.50 x 11.00 x 7.50mm, calculated to weigh approximately 7.10 carats, is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures, and that the rubies measuring approximately 7.30 x 5.50 x 3.65mm and 6.85 x 5.35 x 3.15mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.3 and 0.9 carats respectively, are of Thai origin, with indications of heating. French assay mark and stamped OR750 for 18 carat gold. Inscribed EC 7.11, RP 2.17, B 1.88, and BJ 0.58, for stated total carat weigh of emerald, rubies, diamonds, and diamonds of yellow tint respectively. Emerald green of medium strong saturation with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions. Rubies red of strong saturation, minor abrasions. For more information on the emerald and rubies please refer to SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with light use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 14 grams.
