Description

Set with an oval sapphire stated to weigh 5.49 carats, between baguette diamond shoulders, further enhanced with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 521/2, French assay mark for gold.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80956, stating that the sapphire, measuring approximately 10.85 x 9.25 x 6.20mm, calculated to weigh approximately 5.5 carats, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. French assay mark and stamped OR750 for 18 carat gold. Inscribed S 5.49, DB 1.01, B 1.30, for total stated carat weight of sapphires, baguette diamonds, and brilliant-cut diamonds respectively. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, minor abrasions. For more information on the sapphire please refer to SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 6 grams.
