The parure comprising: a necklace composed of two rows of lapis lazuli beads, the clasp highlighted with a cabochon lapis lazuli framed with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 390mm, signed Missiaglia; a bracelet, length approximately 195mm, signed Nardi; a pair of ear clips; and a ring, size 46, together with seven additional lapis lazuli beads; the brooch of blackamoor design the head composed of carved chalcedony, the turban and tunic highlighted with rose diamonds, signed Missiaglia.
Condition
Necklace and brooch signed MISSIAGLIA, bracelet signed NARDI, brooch with Italian maker's mark and assay mark, each stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Lapis lazuli well matched in colour, with typical pyrite and calcite inclusions, minor abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Chalcedony overall in good condition. Scratches and tarnish to the metal consistent with age and use. Overall in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 420 grams.
