- ink and colour on silk, hanging scroll
- 147.8 by 74 cm. 58 1/8 by 29 1/8 in.
signed Cao Yen, dated gengchen and with one seal of the artist with one collector’s seal of Fang Junyi (1815-1888)
Condition
- several minor humidity mould stains at the right of the painting - minor silk loss, particularly an area of silk loss near the right shoe, restored - minor loss and cracks to the pigment due to ages
