Condition
This work is in original unlined condition. The surface presents well and remains bright. There are a few areas of very minor, finely patterned crauqelure across the picture surface, and minor frame abrasion scattered along the edges. Under UV: old varnish fluoresces green. The darkest pigments in the mother and the baby's left hand have been reinforced. Additional inpainting to address prior frame abrasion visible at the edges.
