Catalogue Note

The two volumes were published to commemorate the those who served in the Battle of Britain, on it's 50th anniversary and those who served in the RAF Bomber Command, respectively. No. 1 of each copy was presented to the Queen and the Queen Mother was presented with a copy by the Royal Bank of Scotland. In 1992 Prime Minister John Major presented ...So Few to President George H. W. Bush, which can now be found in the Library of Congress.
