Condition

Good overall condition. The wood presents with some structural cracks at the junctions, with more significant cracks on the top of both stools, including one larger on the top of one stool (approximately 30 cm long and maximum 0,2 cm width in the middle of the stool). The stools have most likely been re-gilt at a later stage. Some wear to the gilding overall with some scratches, small dents and small chips of gilding scattered. All consistent with age and use.
