Condition

Good overall condition. A few shallow surface scratches consistent with age and use. A few minute white paint stains on the surface. One of the ceramic stem is slightly moving. Remnants of paper labels and of glue from previous paper labels. The holes for the sockets have been filled with plaster and some of this plaster has overflowed around the rim of the holes. There are removable cardboard sockets to hide the plastic sockets, they are not illustrated in the catalogue illustration. One of the plastic socket is broken. Some scratches and oxidation on the metal stem, consistent with age and use. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician. The total height with the metal stem is 84 cm - The height of the ceramic element is 40 cm.
