Condition
Overall in fair condition. The wooden surfaces with multiple scuffs, scratches, nicks shallow indentations and discolouration throughout as partially visible in the catalogue illustration. The wooden shelves with fading and multiple circular ring marks. The top left proper corner of the frame surrounding the silk with a loss measuring approximately 3.5cm. The silk fabric with multiple areas of abrasions and fraying and staining concentrated to the lower proper left corner and middle proper right side. The red painted interior of the central shelving unit with multiple scuffs and scratches concentrated to the base. The rear of the unit with writing in white paint and associated paint flecks. The glass handles with scattered scuffs and fine scratches. All of the above is consistent with age and use. A professional restorers quotation is available upon request.
