- hand-woven wool on a linen warp
- 346 x 271 cm (136 1/4 x 106 3/4 in.)
- designed 1924, executed 1930
Condition
Overall in very good condition. The edges of the rug may have had tassels at one point which have been removed and is consistent with age and gentle use. The surfaces with very minor scattered lifting to the weave, possibily inherent in production and not visually disruptive. A stunning example of this design in remarkable condition.
