Condition

Overall in very good condition. The base has been inspected under ultra violet light. The top edge of the bottom half of the base, directly below the head with areas of professional and sensitive restoration. Two areas measuring approximately exhibiting minor lifting with slight movement but are intact. This area can not be seen unless looking underneath the table. The yelow and black serpentine shaped stripes on the proper left hand side of the base has been sensitively repainted at some point, with some areas of the white ground also possiblily restored. The bottom lip of the base with a minor and fine hairline crack which is stable and possibly occured during the glaze firing. None of the above are visually distracting. The glass with minor fine surface scuffs and scratches throughout. Please contact the department for further images beyond what is listed on the website.
