Condition

Overall good condition. Some surface scratches on the metal and scattered traces of light oxidation, consistent with age and use. The junction of the hand and the base presents with some more significant oxidation, most likely original. The hand presents with a few flaws inherent to the manufacturing process (some cracks and separations at the base of the fingers between the middle finger, the ring finger and the little finger, visible in the catalogue illustration - irregularities to the galvanic silver, mostly concentrated to the back of the hand. Please reach the department for additional pictures).

Catalogue Note

François-Xavier Lalanne offers the present hand to the decorator Alain Demachy telling him : This hand is for you. Place it at the back of your yacht when you'll have one, so it will say good bye to your guests when they leave your boat.
