The marble base presents with a few very minute chips and a few previously restored chips along the edges and the corners, consistent with age and use. The metal elements presents with a few light scratches. The brass shade presents with some light oxidation overall, most likely intended by the artist and with some light scratches, light wear along the edges and a few minute chips of gilding scattered. The lower corners of the shade are slightly bended, consistent with age and use. The inside of the shade is painted in white with a few scuffs and some chips of paint mostly concentrated to the corners and the upper edges. The metal structure holding the shade with a few chips of paint and some rust along the upper corners. The welding on one upper corner is broken but it does not jeopardize the stability of the shade.
