of square section, the exterior superbly modelled resembling a section of a tree bark with raised vertical ridges and furrows interrupted by elongated knots, the recessed areas combed with rows of cascading pits simulating scales of a tree, the raised areas patinated to a reddish-brown tone

Condition

The brushpot is in overall good condition. There are some shallow chips to the edges and extremities, including the rim and the edges of the raised ridges on the exterior.
