with an ovoid body rising from a countersunk base to a constricted lipped mouth-rim, the exterior liberally painted in russet strokes with three floral sprays, all against a glossy black glaze covering the vessel save for the buff-coloured unglazed footring

Condition

In overall very good condition with expected surface scratches and firing imperfections such as a firing flaw to the base.
