This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. There is evidence of a few, scattered surface scuffs and some minor surface accretions. There are a few, minor surface abrasions particularly a 1 inch linear surface abrasion to the lower left edge and a 1/2 inch minor, surface abrasion in the center lower left quadrant. Under close inspection, there are a few areas with stable pigment craquelure. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is a small area in the lower left quadrant which fluoresces lightly but does not appear to be as a result of restoration. Framed.

Executed in 1967, the authenticity of the present work has been confirmed by Pierre Vasarely, President of the Fondation Vasarely, universal legatee and the moral right holder of Victor Vasarely. This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné de l’Oeuvre Peint de Victor Vasarely, which is currently being compiled by the Fondation Vasarely, Aix-en-Provence.
