Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. Evidence of hairline craquelures, visible only upon close examination, are occasionally observed over thickly painted areas which is inherent to artist's chosen medium and method of execution. Minor flaking of impastos is observed, located 49cm from the left and 60cm from the bottom edge, and 65 cm from the left and 45 cm from the bottom edge respectively. Pigment elements are stable. A very minor chip of paint globule is observed, located on the bottom left corner, 16cm from the left edge. An impasto located 62 cm from the left and 52 cm from the bottom edge of work has been reinforced and is stable. No evidence of retouching when examined under ultraviolet light. Framed.
