Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The pesos bill is hinged verso in all four corners to the mat board. The paint layer of the painted area is thin throughout with associated exposure of the ground layer, inherent to the work and artist's chosen medium. There is an area of minor paint loss in the red area approximately 2 in. from the right edge. There is also evidence of a pinpoint loss in the red area of the center circle approximately 3 in. from the right edge. Upon close inspection, very minor tears are visible along the bottom edge, approximately 1 1/8 in. from the right edge, and along the right edge, approximately 1.5 in. from the bottom edge. Slightly darkened corners and edges are noticeable throughout. Both tears and color variation on the pesos bill correlate with the nature of the artist's chosen medium. Framed under Plexiglas.
