Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist’s working method. There is evidence of handling along the edges, including very minor discoloration along the bottom and lateral edges and a small tear approximately 4-inch. from the left edge. The top edge is slightly irregular, per the artist’s intention. There is minor evidence of water staining on the lower edge 6.5-inches from the left edge as well as 2-inches. from the right edge, both of which are obscured by the top mat. Under close inspection stray pencil marks are visible as well as an area of accretion at the right top corner of the second to right unit, likely from the time of execution. There are two pinpoint spot accretions underneath the area of text. The sheet is cornered at the edges. Framed under Plexiglas.
