"I'm interested in contemporary vision–the flicker of chrome, reflections, rapid associations, quick flashes of light. Bing–Bang! I don't do anecdotes. I accumulate experiences." James Rosenquist
This work is in very good condition overall. There is light evidence of wear and handling along the edges. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under very close inspection, two minor outward protrusions are visible along the bottom edge, a pinpoint to the canvas is visible along the bottom edge towards the right, several small circular media accretions are visible along the left edge and there is a pinpoint brown spot accretion just beyond the figure’s cuticle. Under Ultraviolet light, the aforementioned circular drip accretions and a few minor other drip accretions fluoresce lightly but do not appear to be the result of restoration. Framed. In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective buyers should inspect each lot to satisfy themselves as to condition and must understand that any statement made by Sotheby's is merely a subjective qualified opinion. NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
