The colour in the printed catalogue is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper and richer and the white is warmer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the textures qualities of the canvas.
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of light handling in places on the frame with three associated minute nicks, one to the upper left extreme corner tip, another on the extreme upper edge approximately 10 cm from the upper left corner tip, and the third to the lower right extreme corner tip. There is no restoration apparent when examined under ultra violet light.
