Condition
Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the grey tones are cooler in the original and fails to convey the pearlescent qualities of the metallic paint. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals some light wear to the upper and lower right corer tips, and a faint rub mark to the upper left extreme outer edge. The stretcher on the upper horizontal edge is irregularly cut, which has caused a tiny and unobtrusive indentation towards the centre of the upper edge. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a minute speck of fluorescence to the lower left extreme corner tip, which is due to inpainting.
