Condition

Colour: The colour in the printed catalogue is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper, richer and cooler in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged verso to the backing mount in several places along the upper edge and undulates. There are artist's pinholes on all four corners and in isolated places in the composition. Visible only when inspected out of its frame is evidence of previous stretching, with associated tears, folds and staple holes along all four edges. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
