Colour: The colour in the printed catalogue is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a few tiny drying cracks to the extreme upper left overturn edge with a few tiny associated specks of flaking. Further extremely close inspection reveals a very short and unobtrusive tear to the upper center of the upper hand right edge which has a tiny speck of associated loss. Further inspection reveals some artist's tape which has yellowed slightly and which has left some residue and skinning in places on the bottom extreme overturn edge and some extremely tiny specks of tape residue to the extreme right hand overturn edge. There is no restoration apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
