The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly cooler in the original.
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged along the top edge to the backing board. The bottom left hand corner of the black sheet of paper is torn and the horizontal edges of the napkin are perforated and folded. All folds, undulations and surface irregularities are original and in keeping with the artist's choice of materials and working processes. There are glue residues in places throughout, which are original. "In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
