Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged verso in all four corners to the backing board. All four edges are deckled. Extremely close inspection reveals a few short and hairline creases and tears in isolated places to the extreme edge of the paper. All superficial scratches are in keeping with the artist's working process. Extremely close inspection reveals a minute network of drying cracks to uppermost red circle.
